Job description: Band 8d - £65,922 to £81,618 pa Where financial management expertise doesn’t just improve business; it saves lives. The Assistant Finance Director – Operations works closely with the Finance Director of NHSBT to provide financial governance and control, and to manage back office transactional services in accounting and payroll. Building on a recognised CCAB qualification, you will have substantial experience of financial management at a senior level within a large, multidisciplinary organisation and can support this with demonstrable skills in technical accounting and reporting, people management and process improvement. NHSBT is an ambitious organisation, with a challenging strategy and a strong focus on continuous improvement. We are looking for someone with a similar level of ambition and a strong desire to play a key role in the leadership and development of NHSBT and its finance function.
