The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an investor initiative in partnership with UNEP Finance Initiative and the UN Global Compact. The PRI Initiative has quickly become the leading global network for investors to publicly demonstrate their commitment to responsible investment.
PRI Initiative is developing a programme of policy and research based work around promoting sustainable financial markets through research-backed collaborative projects with PRI signatories and other stakeholders.
A Policy and Research Manager experienced in facilitating research and policy work is required to implement our new strategy. Reporting to the Director of Policy and Research you will be involved in all aspects of the Policy and Research work stream, as well as being an internal resource for the preparation of research for articles, papers and presentations for executive team and Council Chair. Projects will likely include addressing short-termism in financial markets and the public policy aspects of responsible investment. This role will involve research, project management and other support functions.
To be considered for this key position your English writing and editing skills will be to a highly professional standard and you will possess outstanding analytical, research and communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of investment practice, the structure and operation of the investment chain, and of the issues relating to sustainable financial markets and the incorporation of ESG factors into investments.
